A fellow wedding photographer long ago told me about Second Life and I quickly dismissed it, that was until he told me how ostentatious a second life wedding could be. The participants often spend real world money on gowns, tuxedos and accessories as seen here.

How about that bling! But I have to say, I wasn't really feeling the bridesmaids dresses. This wedding topped the bank at $65,000 lindens which is roughly $225 real world dollars for a simulated online wedding. Who knew!
